W. Allen Wrede Concert

This Saturday, August 2 at 3:00 p.m. I am holding a concert for the benefit of Trinity Place, a homeless shelter for LGBT youth.  The event takes place at the Fourth Universalist Society at 160 Central Park West (at the corner of 76th Street).  Admission is $10.
 
Please join me as I perform original compositions and standards accompanied by Nathan Kaplan on piano, Ilya Levitin on cello and special guests.
 
As an added bonus there will be a bake sale, too.  All proceeds go to Trinity Place.

Film Premier After-Party Benefit! at the Vlada Lounge (331 W. 51st Street) at 10 PM

"Between Love and Goodbye" Film premiere After-party to benefit Trinity Place.  The bi-annual cabaret to benefit Trinity Place takes on a new form and a new venue this Spring. Held in conjunction with the movie premier after party of Casper Andreas' much anticipated feature drama, "Between Love and Goodbye." The event will be held on Sunday June 8th. Doors open at 10 pm. at the Vlada Lounge (331 W. 51st Street) featuring legendary drag performer Shequida as the mistress of ceremonies. $30 donation benefits the shelter, payable at the door. Open to the public! Hosts for the event include Rob Harmon (lead actor from the film), Richie Rich, Ajoshua, Jasen Kaplan and Sarah Brown. Surprise celebrities. Music by DJ KEO, drink specials, guest performances by Joey Lula and SIR PAUL. Live auction. Sponsors include Marc Jacobs, Diesel, David and Phillippe Blond, Elliot Luca, The Sak and Jose Cuervo. Emily and Stephanie Rock the Opera

Stephanie Gravelle and Emily Motherwell present an opera recital fundraiser for Trinity Place: A Homeless Shelter for LGBTQ Youth.  At Trinity Lutheran Church, Tuesday, April 22nd, at 7:30 p.m.  Freewill offering taken to benefit Trinity Place.  A wine and appetizer reception follows.

Opera Benefit Concert

After performances of Rigoletto, La Sonnambula, Anna Bolena, Roberto Devereux and Comte Ory in the first two seasons of this company, West Side Opera Society will present a Gala Operatic concert Sunday March 30, 2008 at 7:00 PM. Virtually all of the company will be featured in this evening and Artistic director, David Clenny has picked an eclectic selection of favorites from the Lombardi Trio to the Presentation of the Rose and love duet from Madama Butterfly. All performances benefit Trinity Place, a shelter for homeless LGBTQ Youth.
